Be Bright, Be Seen
On Monday we held a ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ assembly to remind children about the importance of being visible when out and about, particularly with the darker nights approaching.
Your child will have brought home a reflective badge that can be attached to their school bag or coat. Please help your child in positioning the badge so that it is visible. We have also sent home a travel diary. We would like to encourage all children to walk to school. Whilst we are aware that it is not always possible for the children to walk to school from home, we would like to remind them that cars can be parked a 10 minute walk away from school so that they can walk part of the way. As well as this forming part of a healthy lifestyle, we would like to reduce the traffic congestion around the school area. If you would like more advice on road safety for children check out the Think! website for information and fun interactive games. www.think.direct.gov.uk/education/early-years-and-primary/pupils/over-7s/
