Year 6 Poetry

In English, Year 6 have been busy writing a poem about spending time in their favourite place. 

Laurie: I get to forget all my worries and get lost in the moment.

Olivia: Ripples in the water, mischievous ducks playing.

Annie: Pecking at worms, the birds fly away.

Tilly: My feet leading my curiosity somewhere I don't know.

Clay: Birds are tweeting, I can hear, in this place I have no fear. In my beloved garden is where I play and in this place I wish I could stay.
